Clematis armandii Apple Blossom' owes its name to the flowers, which are very similar in colour to the flowers of apple trees. The flowers are pink when in bud, the petals themselves are white with yellowish-white stamens in the centre. The flowers appear on the climber in early spring. It is an abundant bloomer, which bees love. A special feature of this climber is that it is one of the few clematis that stays green in winter. Its leaves are leathery, oblong green and very elegant.
